Select an Elbow from a Manufacturer Catalog

Select

(Duct Accessory) and in the Place Component dialog select the catalog item Round Elbow . The DataGroup properties panel offers the elbow data properties.

Position the cursor in the field to the right of the Catalog Name property under the Parameters heading. The text field expands into a drop list. Available manufacturer catalog names appear on the list.

Select a desired catalog. Subsequent properties —Type, Product Code and Manufacturer are set automatically based on the current Catalog Name.

Tip: When multiple selections for manufacturer properties are available, the application selects the first item on the respective drop lists.

Note: If a non-standard size is specified, and a manufacturer catalog is selected, the selected catalog item automatically sets the dimensions to match the closest catalog entry.

Place the catalog instance into a route using one of the available methods.
